Whisky is in Rob Gard’s blood (though always less than .08 percent when he drives). He’s descended from Irish pot stillers, Kentucky moonshiners and all-American drinkers. From his first near-suicidal shot of Jim Beam at age 8 (thanks to a tricky neighbor) to imbibing directly from the cask at the world’s leading distilleries, Rob’s palate was blessed for whisky tasting.
